The first look into the future…Meet Google Glasses.
My initial thoughts:
1. Wow, wow, wow!
2. So this is the future eh? I bet the Jetsons aren’t impressed.
3. I wonder how exactly these will work…will you need a data plan? Will they run on wireless?
4. With an invention like this we’re getting further and further away from the idea of living in the present. How will we process all of this new rapid fire information?
5. Will this be more or less dangerous than people staring at their phones as they cross the street (me included)
6. How will we convince someone not to wear these in the shower?
7. Ooooo I can’t wait to design my own frames.

Get ready for a day-long conference that seeks to understand, celebrate and empower the informal methods of social innovation that grow organically in Harlem and throughout communities around the world. The conference day is broken out into four movements designed to explore the newest ideas in innovation and expose you to concepts and dialogue that are exciting, engaging and inspirational.
Movement #1: The Global Future: Topics that will impact your world tomorrow
Movement #2: The Application of Ideas: Ideas in motion
Movement #3: Innovation and Triumph: How we did it
Movement #4: Actionable Moments: The challenge. The call to action.
TEDxHarlem will run from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
We are excited that the impressive lineup of innovative thinkers, speakers and performers will be able to present at Riverside Church. Throughout the day there will be ample opportunity during breaks and lunch to network, reflect and share your experiences with both new and old friends.
