I’d like a repeat please.
It’s been a while since I posted random pictures from my weekend, and since this weekend was sooo kick a**, it feels wildly appropriate to share the joy.
Why was it so great you ask? I’ll kick it to you in my “Listful thinking” fashion:
1. It was my good friends Torian & Chriny’s wedding. Yall know I LOVE “love” so you can understand my excitement. They’re both amazing people with huge hearts, so it was a true blessing to watch them publicly comment their lives, love and fellowship to God.
2. Torian and Chriny threw a legit PARTY. We body-rolled, dougied, two-stepped, and George and I did the bop to “Love on Top.” It was too cute! Pretty sure I left my perm on the dance floor. But hey, go hard or go home right? And since I was all the way out in Brooklyn I wasn’t leaving until I squeezed every ounce of fun out of night.
3. EVERYONE was having fun at the wedding. I’m an extreme extrovert, and I get my energy from being around other people. I also love to see other people happy and enjoying the precious moments life has to offer, so you can imagine my joy that night. (P.S. – Have you ever taken the Myers Briggs personality test? If not, try it)
4. Their wedding brought LOTS of good friends in town (Yay Larry & Randi sleepover). What’s better than food, friends, family and drinks? When you find something let me know.
5. George and I ran into an old friend at Billie’s Black. When we first met David a year ago he was on his way to South Africa for a few months. It was dope to hear all about his trip, and to see some of his fantastic pictures.
6. And finally….I got some fire back. Things have been a bit hectic for me this summer, and subsequently I’ve taken a small break from my Nikki Flix. But thanks to Georgie and Asha Camille I’m back on the grind. A number of you have mentioned to me that you wanted some headshots or you wanted me to cover your events etc. Well, I’m back! Thanks for reminding me that part of my job on earth is to use my gifts to inspire and encourage others.
So, that was my weekend, how was yours?

It was cool. Nat’l Black MBA conference was here in Atlanta and brought a ton of folks into town that I’ve worked or went to school with over the years.
Highlights:
- hanging w/ Jermaine and Heavenly
- chilling at Stankonia with my coworker and Big Boi at 3am
- Howard party…and the rooftop
Then I spent Saturday swinging through the jungle like Tarzan on the biggest Zip Line course in North America. Surprise trip planned by B and her girls…lots of fun, you souls have loved it.

Dude, your weekend sounds awesome!! Did you get to see my dad speak at NBMBAA? Zip lining?! I love it. Where’s that course?
Those who know DCal (name circa ’02) love him. I am not exempt.
